The Millie Project
This is Millie. My beautiful healer-mix (now 6 years old) who I adopted from Texas Cattle Dog Rescue when she was 9 weeks old. Millie takes her job as a model for this series very seriously.
Making an occasional guest appearance in the Millie Project is my sweet calico cat Lucy.

About the Millie Project
On March 17, 2020 I began a digital project called The Daily Millie. It was my way of reaching out to friends near and far during the 1st 100 days of social distancing. To personalize this project I made the decision to send the images by email rather than post them on social media.
Each Daily Millie was accompanied by a quote that I felt could bring a little light into everyone’s day. If the Millie was accompanied by verse from a song a link was also sent to listen to the song. Many of the backgrounds were from my paintings, or photographs. In event I used the work of other artists- credit was always given
After the initial 100 (consecutive) days I continued the project on a weekly basis (until May 16, 2021) which I called The Sunday Millie.
At present , the series continues... and is now called The Occasional Millie.
